Thrift Radiates Happiness Catalogue Launch

To coincide with Love Architecture Festival launch night, we will be launching the Thrift Radiates Happiness catalogue. Please join us at MADE, Newhall Square on Thursday 27th June and pick up your copy! There will be a BBQ, drinks, talks from project partners the BAA and RIBA and, of course, the catalogue.
The catalogues will be available for the special price of £4 during the launch event, and available online and at RIBA London Bookstore afterwards.

Public Debate: Design Culture Birmingham
The Birmingham Architectural Association together with RIBA West Midlands invite you to a public debate with a panel that brings together architecture, art, local government and the heritage sector discussing the benefit of 'design culture': what are the common benefits of well-designed and well-preserved built environment, as well as a vibrant cultural offer for cities and their inhabitants how are we achieving this in Birmingham and how can we do better.
The event will also see the launch of an ideas competition bringing together architectural practices, architecture students and arts organisation in the run-up to RIBA's Love Architecture Festival (21-30 June 2013). More information will be published closer to the date.

We invite you to join us celebrate this incredible building and enjoy the creative programme of drawings, images, sound and light, video and music from local, national and international artists.
There will be areas where you can listen, watch, study and participate as well as enjoy the full gravitas of the building itself. You can discover how art and architecture make a positive difference to our lives and experience first-hand the art of investment
A key feature of the exhibition is an auction that will take place in the safety deposit box room. You will be invited to invest £2 to receive a random number for a safety deposit box that will contain a limited edition art print.
Entrance to the exhibition will be free and open to all, thanks to funding awarded by The Arts Council, RIBA and Aedas and refreshments will be available.
